HTML Editor: Keep formatting.
Quote from ACR-SCOUT on July 15, 2022, 4:38 pmHello,
I don't know if this is possible. When editing email templates I frequently use the HTML editor option. It would be nice if the editor keep the formatting such as tabs, line feed, and bracket placements.
I try to use HTML email best practices when creating emails which usually include using HTML tables for formatting still since many email clients may strip CSS and other style commands.
When editing the email template later it is hard to see where to edit.
Side Note: I typically design the email in Visual Studio Code and transfer the HTML to Nitro.

I believe the HTML editor should keep the styling. Are you seeing that tabs, brackets, etc are getting stripped when copying the code to the HTML editor?
When editing the email template later it is hard to see where to edit.
Can you send an example of what you are seeing here? This will be helpful for knowing how we can make an improvement.
Thank you for your feedback!

James,
Please see the two attached images to show the difference in editing experience. This would be a nice to have.
