Knowledge Base adjustmenets

It would be great if I could adjust how the Knowledge Base looks. I would love to have something similar to the CrowCanyon.help KB. I know that's comparing SharePoint to WordPress, but I would love to be able to manipulate that web page to showcase articles a bit better.

 

I am unsure how others use the KB module, but I never create them from a ticket directly. It feels like it should be separate from the Tickets module, perhaps having some more formatting options or templates to base created articles from. For my process, I have created a word document that is roughly the same width as the KB's portal pages and can copy and paste it and it mostly works. I have to copy in images separately, save, then determine if I need to make tweaks by viewing it as an end user would.
