Preview Form - choosing which item to preview

Is there a way we can choose the most recent item(s) when previewing a form in Forms Designer? The dropdown box looks like it displays the 10 oldest items to choose from, but we have some imported records from an older system without titles and it just displays "No Title" for each one.
Ideally we would be able to select an Item ID to review, since we sometimes have a particular item that would best show the effect of any changes. Even displaying the most recent items would be more useful since the current items all have IDs. We have to Publish the form and test it with Live data, which isn't ideal.
