Saving a workflow while it is being designed
Quote from pf-amalin on March 31, 2022, 2:23 pmI'm designing a workflow in Designer and am trying to back it up, but it won't let me save until all steps are finished and all the arrows are in place. Is there a way to save a copy of a workflow while it is incomplete so I don't lose my work if I have to stop for a while?

Because of the way the workflow tool is designed, the workflow has to be "complete" (i.e. have a complete flow from the Start node to the End node) in order to be saved. You can always take a screenshot of where you are, make the connections (even if they are not correct), and then save the file. Since you likely won't be publishing it at this point, there is no risk of the workflow getting triggered with the wrong connections in place. I hope that helps!
