Can someone please tell me where the document is to configure advanced approvals.

There was a really good article that I beleve it was a word document that outlayed exactly what cusom actions meed to be added, etc. for configuring advanced aprovals. It almost followed the video. But it has vanished... Cannot find it anywhere. Can someone please direct me to it location. It actuall layed out each custom action and what needed to be coded.
